Paul R. Smith Middle School is now offering our Extended School Day program to our families. Extended school day gives your child an opportunity to get extra support from our teachers in developing basic language arts and math skills, in completing work for their classes, and in making up class credits for classes they did not receive passing grades for.
Our Extended School Day program meets from 3:15 pm till 4:45 pm Monday through Thursday and from 9:00 am till 12:00 pm on Saturdays. Your child can attend any combination of days during the week, but we recommend that your child be in attendance for at least six hours during the week to fully benefit from the program.
Bus transportation is provided for any family requesting it, but please be aware the Extended Day busses use community stops that may be different than your child’s usual bus stop. Bus requests may also take up to five school days to process.
