In order to protect the health and safety of employees, staff, and students, all those who access Pasco County School locations must self-screen for symptoms and other risk factors of COVID-19 daily. If you answer YES to any of the questions, you should NOT be on a school campus or school district office. All three self-screeners – the Student Self-Screener, the Employee Self-Screener, and the Visitor Self-Screener – are accessible from the district’s COVID-19 protocols page and are posted on each school web page.

Paul R. Smith MS Band

Music for All. Home of the Screaming Eagle Band!

About Our Program

The Paul R. Smith Middle School Music Program is a growing tradition in the land of the Eagles! Students have the opportunity to play woodwind, brass, or percussion instruments in Beginning Band and Advanced Band over 3 years in middle school! Our band family has the opportunity to create lifelong memories and inspiration through music.

With the support of Paul R. Smith Middle School and the Holiday Community, our program continues to strive for musical and academic excellence collectively and individually. Go Eagles!

Be sure to keep up with all of our activities by visiting our News page. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Synnett!

Our Ensembles

We have a number of classes available for students of all ability levels. We offer Beginning Band, Concert Band, Advanced Band, and Exploring Music Performance!

Be a Volunteer

We always need volunteers to help with music events throughout the year. The District School Board of Pasco County requires that all parents complete the Volunteer Application before they can volunteer with our program.
